MoiScore: Building On-Chain Reputation for the Unbanked
MoiScore is Moistello's on-chain reputation system — a portable, transparent, and fair credit score for the unbanked.
The Problem
1.7 billion adults have no formal credit history. When they join a savings circle, there is no data to assess their reliability. Traditional ROSCAs rely on personal trust, which limits scale.
The Solution: MoiScore
MoiScore is a 0-1000 score calculated entirely from on-chain behavior:
- Streak (35%) — Consecutive on-time payments
- Completions (30%) — Successful circle completions
- Volume (20%) — Total contributions across all circles
- Recency (15%) — Recent activity level
Score Tiers

Why On-Chain?
MoiScore lives on the Stellar blockchain, not in a private database. This means:
- Portable — Take your score to any circle, any platform
- Transparent — Anyone can verify the calculation
- Immutable — History cannot be erased or manipulated
- Permissionless — No gatekeepers
The Vision
MoiScore is our first step toward becoming a reputation protocol. Eventually, any lender, platform, or service could check a user's MoiScore to make trust decisions — without requiring a traditional credit bureau.
