YoTop10 does not require accounts, emails, or passwords. On your first visit, the platform generates a unique device fingerprint from your browser and creates an anonymous user profile. You can immediately do the following without any signup process:

A top 10 list about scientific discoveries, for example, should explain not just what each discovery was, but why it mattered and how it changed the world.

Best Of and Worst Of lists are variations of the top 10 format with a specific editorial angle. Best Of lists celebrate the best things in a category — the best coding tools, the best 90s movies, the best football players. Worst Of lists take a critical lens — the worst tech products that bombed, the worst fast food items that should never exist. Both formats require the same level of justification as top 10 lists, but with a tone that matches the editorial angle.

Articles are long-form content without the ranked list format. They function like traditional blog posts or educational pieces. Articles can include images and should be well-structured with clear sections. The minimum length requirement ensures that articles provide genuine depth rather than shallow coverage.

Debates are side-by-side comparisons of two opposing sides. Unlike lists, debates are binary — this vs that. Users vote on which side they agree with, and the votes are displayed in real time. A good debate presents both sides fairly, with distinct and well-argued descriptions for each.

Did You Know facts are the shortest content type — a single surprising fact with a credible source. These are meant to be quick, shareable knowledge drops that inform and surprise. The key requirement is that the fact must be genuinely surprising and backed by a verifiable source.

2. Choose your type — Select from the six post types: Top 10, Best Of, Worst Of, Article, Debate, or Did You Know
